This is Pica. came up with her name after flicking through a bird watchers manual. Did you know that magpie's go 'ica pica'? :3 I didn't. Didn't care, really X3
This piece was mainly just a bit of fun, get some hair and skin practice. The skin is always my favourite part of a piece. Still not entirely sure what I think of this piece though. Kinda wish I could take it further but really I have no idea what I'm doing at times. But I might decide to work on this further if I get some inspiration
The skin has a very high gloss finish. If your using photoshop, be careful about using soft edged brushes because it will often make the skin look "too smooth"... or even like plastic.
I good thing to do is to make one layer a texture layer. and do that in a gray scale, or a color other then skin. Since skin has many colors in it... blue green yellows, even orange and pink... it all depends on what color your backdrop is going to be... Gray will make it ueutral though.
Then go over that with another layer of your skin tone... and your texture layer will show through slightly. It will show the small bumps and flaws in the skin.
I love it! Interesting fact.. magpies love shiny objects.. pika pika is japanese onomatapoae (sp?) for something shining. But yeah.. loving the hair and the eyes are gorgeous!!

Jesus Christ is my personal Saviour, the Lord of my life, my Father and Comforter. "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit." 1 Peter 3:18

stressed is desserts spelled backwards, so have a cookie and chill =u=b -- D\'you know by the time you\'ve finished reading this paragraph/sig (assuming that it will take you about half a minute) 50 people will have died and 120 will have been born o_O
Whoa, this is an awesome piece. I'm loving the hair, and you did a good job on the cell shading. The eyes look intense, perhaps a little bit too intense LIKE SHE'S STARING INTO YOUR VERY SOUL. Or something.
Great job

While it's true that no weapon is mighty enough to chop Tifa's breasts, it's very likely that she got a scar when Sephiroth slashed her with the Masamune in Nibelheim.
OMG she has truly epic hair 8D *wants* I wish my hair was lighter so I could dye it crazy colours without having to bleach the crap out of it first XD
If you wanted to do something more to it try adding some crazy hair clips, dangly earrings, necklaces etc. Depends what effect you'd want but if I'm struggling to give something more detail I just add loads of accessories 8D

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
