This is Pica. came up with her name after flicking through a bird watchers manual. Did you know that magpie's go ';Pica pica'? :3
I didn't. Didn't care, really X3

This piece was mainly just a bit of fun, get some hair and skin practice. The skin is always my favourite part of a piece.
Still not entirely sure what I think of this piece though. Kinda wish I could take it further but really I have no idea what I'm doing at times. But I might decide to work on this further if I get some inspiration

Colouring on this is fantastic. The solid shapes and sharp cuts of shadow look great. The starkness of her expression is sweet too.
The collar bones look a little too defined and thin though. They look more like tendons than bones. A softer shadow colour, or removing the darker outline above them might solve that?
The way the shirt spreads out below her shoulders looks a little odd too, makes her look extremely wide in the chest.

Great picture overall though, really stands out and leaves an impression.

I really like this piece. If I was to critique anything, it would be that the black and green hair looks like her actual color and the red looks kind of detached, like she put on a wig part way. It could just be how I'm looking at it though. Great piece regardless!
